We make “the world`s fastest sea salt” – from the powerfulwhirlpools in Saltstraumen! One summerday in 2012, acrazy idea came out of nowhere: What if I could make seasalt out of the strong whirlpools in Saltstraumen, know as the world`s strongest tidal current? After a lot of home experiments, swearing, burned pans and frustrations, I learnt the how-s, and one fine day, the gourmet salt with the clear and fresh sea taste – Arctic Salt – was born!
We enjoy trying out some variations of salt, combining flavours with salt, so today we have three variations in addition to the white sea salt. Try out our birch-smoked salt, for instance! Seven out of ten love it, the other three really don`t. 😉
